SELF-LOVE

We all want to transform into the most beautiful, successful and best version of ourselves but that kind of change doesn’t happen with just tips and tricks, we have to glow and grow from within. Let us embark ourselves to grow from within, from the inside out, learning to care, love and nurture our mind, body and soul. Self-love is a regard for one’s own happiness and is a basic human necessity. It starts with our own minds’ attitude towards life and how we think about ourselves. For each negative thought, replace it with a positive affirmation that helps you build a positive mindset about yourself. Talk to yourself that you are confident, beautiful, capable and worthy. You don’t have to believe everything that you think, only choose to believe thoughts that serve you. Do things that inspire and drive you towards better living quality and most importantly, things that make you happy. Step out of your comfort zone, explore yourself with new habits, ideas and creativity. Get yourself into an environment that makes you feel productive and empowered and smile more.

I personally have learned to smile more no matter how tough and hard situations get. Learning to accept what’s happening around me and taking it as a challenge and knowing there’s always a way out and not letting others’ opinions overcome me or think about what people will say and staying true to myself was the most freeing mindset shift that happened to me.

Emotions are meant to be felt. If you bury or hold them, you will never feel free to grow, learn to express yourself, learn to let the things that hurt you go. Learn to forgive and learn to love and be kind to all nature around you.

Rather than trying to make people around you happy, focus on yourself. Take time to nurture your body, eat healthy, exercise, hydrate yourself more, read good books, sip coffee or tea, relax your mind from the bustling thoughts and give yourself enough time for yourself to understand what you truly want.

Set aims and goals for each day and check yourself whether you have accomplished those aims and goals or not. Self-evaluate to improve; keep balance in all the activities you do in a day e.g. studying, sleeping, working, and going out with friends or the time you spend on your smartphone. Appreciate all things around you and stop complaining about life, about people, about yourself, about situations. Being able to find happiness in the little and the simplest things can really change your life.

Shape your life the way you want, all you need to do is detach yourself from useless emotions and habits, and take full control of your mind and body.
