Registration is now open for the 2nd Essay Writing Competition of the 11 rounds of National Essay Competition which is part of the year-long Fundamental Duties Awareness campaign of Govt. of India to commemorate the 70th year of adoption of our Constitution.
The Competition is being organized by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, in association with UGC and NTA, where there will be one National Essay Competition every month, based on one Fundamental Duty.
Subject for the Second Competition: “TO CHERISH AND FOLLOW THE NOBLE IDEALS WHICH INSPIRED OUR NATIONAL STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM” (Topic will be announced on the spot).
Eligibility: Should be a student of any Higher Education Institution in India.
Registration: Click on https://kartavya.ugc.ac.in/student_page.aspx to register.
On submission of the registration form, a student shall be allotted Application No. Please note down Application No. to download the Admit card.
*Registration for the 2nd Essay Writing Competition begins from 26.12.2019 till 17.01.2020
Exam:
- Online exam in designated centres.
- Applicants can choose centre from drop-down menus.
- 2 hours duration.
- Language for Essay Writing is English & Hindi.
- Essay in English can be written online.
- Essay in Hindi is to be written offline, using Pen & Paper. Paper will be provided at the exam centre.
Costs: There shall be no costs on the participants.
