Registration for Nagaland State Technical Scholarship 2019 is now open

A notification from the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland NO. DTE/SCHO-10/2019 has informed that online registration of State Technical Scholarship for indigenous and ST students pursuing Diploma, Undergraduate and Post Graduate Courses in Engineering (both fresh & renewal) has been made available.

Beginning date: October 19, 2019

Closing date: November 30, 2019

Who can apply?

Indigenous students belonging to scheduled tribes of Nagaland pursuing Diploma/UG/PG course in Engineering (both fresh & renewal) in Indian technical institutes recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) can apply for this Scholarship.

UG/PG students who have also applied for a merit-cum means-based scholarship for minority communities under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India from the National Scholarship portal can also apply.

Applicants of Minority (renewal) whose applications have been defected from the state level for various reasons can also apply afresh.

How to apply?

Students need to apply online from https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in/ and upload the required documents listed below. On successful submission, a unique transaction ID will be generated and also the system generated application form can be downloaded from the Dashboard in the same portal.

Note: The entire process is online for submission and /or acceptance. Submission of the printed application form and supporting documents is not required. Also, the bank account number provided should be that of the applicant. In case of a joint account, name of the applicant should be written first.

Documents Required

  • Passport Photograph.
  • Admit Card and Mark sheet of previous course level i.e. 10+2 for degree fresh students.
  • Admit Card and Mark sheet of previous course level i.e. 10th or 12th for diploma fresh students.
  • Schedule Tribe certificate.
  • Indigenous Certificate.
  • Institution Verification Form (Fresh Applicants)
  • Institution Verification Form (Renewal Applicants)
  • Admission Fee Receipt (Xerox copy)
  • Xerox copy of the front page of Bank Passbook.
  • Xerox copy of the Aadhaar Card.
