UGC invites fresh applications (including renewals) from regular and full time students under the following four schemes for the academic year 2020-2021:
1. Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child (SGC)
2. PG Scholarship for University Rank Holder candidate (URH)
3. Ishan Uday Special scheme for North Eastern Region (NER)
4. PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST candidates (PGSPROF)
The guidelines of each scheme may be accessed at ‘National Scholarship Portal’. The students who are eligible and are admitted in the recognised institutions, as per the guidelines, may submit their applications through National Scholarship Portal on its website – https://scholarships.gov.in/
Closing date for filing online applications by students: 30th October 2020
Closing date for verification of applications by institutions of students including re-submission of defective applications: 15th November 2020
