Call for Submission: The Department of Sociology Tetso College, Dimapur, Nagaland announces the launch of ‘GENOS’ an annual e-book titled Re-Imagining Gender roles and Women’s Spaces in the North- East India. We welcome papers/articles for E-Book scheduled to be launched in the month of August, 2019. Access to the online book will be open to all.
For its first edition, the E- Book will focus on gender. This is done with the intention to bring the emerging and multi-dimensional understandings on gender within a single platform. Issues and trends on various phenomena with regard to gender are often sidelined. So, we would like to invite academicians, researches and any writers to contribute ideas and opinion to assist in further discourses. Further, through this, the Department of Sociology, Tetso College, aims to
discover new and developing topics and findings to highlight, discuss, debates and add to the existing pool of literature. Subsequently, the broad themes that the book will include are:
1. Gender and Society
2. Gender and Work
3. Gender and Migration
4. Gender and Politics
5. Women Groups in the North East: Emerging Patterns and Present Day Functions
Guidelines and Information:
1. A brief profile of the writer.
2. The writings must be original and reflect quality.
3. The article must range from 1700 to 2500 words, Font size -12, Font style- Times New Romans with spacing of 1.5
4. Follow the 8th edition of MLA handbook.
5. Articles submitted to this book will be reviewed with the understanding that the article is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
6. Selection will be done by the editorial committee and the author will be communicated either through mail or personal call.
