“You are a fish, you will marry a fish and your son will be a fish”.

I couldn’t help but giggle at the sarcasm.

“Afterwords” by Therali Rebecca S Ezung is a collection of poetry and prose poetry, an enthralling book teaching the readers about letting go, learning from the past, appreciating growth, time, changes and discomfort. It is about longingness and fulfillment, love and grudges, faith and doubt, recognition and ignorance, perception and sensation, embracement and denial.

Afterwords is a soul-warming read that has the power to touch one’s heart. It is a must-read for teenagers and adults who have struggled to find their place in society. The book’s exquisite content has the ability to stir one’s soul, and it teaches readers the beauty of both positive and destructive emotions. It reminds us that we are all beautiful inside and out, despite our imperfections. I highly recommend this book to people who read to stir their souls. For me, the book is a reminder of all my 2am resolutions and an appreciation and acceptance of my past cannon events. The author’s use of references and vocabulary is truly impressive. The references are exceptional and the diction is on a level that is truly commendable.

Afterwords is a book that helps readers understand their emotions and their peers. It is an eye-opener for society and brings awareness to the changing times. The book is also a reminder of past experiences and a source of appreciation for them. It is an announcement of a new era of perception.

“Every form of kindness I offer, every gentleness i carry, believe me, are little remains of your sublimity. I am looking for your forgiveness in every stranger I meet. I am made up of all the love I have received. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, you made me human again.”
