A felicitation program for subject topper, meritorious students and graduates of 2018 was held at Immanuel College auditorium, Dimapur on June 14.
Cash awards and citations were presented to subject topper in Zoology Honours, Kongtung Chingdang Phom. Lecturers of the subject were also honoured with cash rewards by the Management.
Chairman Governing Body, Dr. A. Loso Chalai, who spoke on the occasion, congratulated the topper as well as the graduate students for their success and encouraged them to share the acquired knowledge with the society and walk in the fear of God.
Speeches on behalf of the lectures were presented by assistant professor, Department of Zoology, Shumbenthung Odyuo and assistant professor, Department of Education, Abeni Mozhui. Speeches on behalf of the students were presented by Kongtung Chingdang Phom and Ato Tzudir. They thanked the management for organising the programme, the lectures for helping and moulding the students, parents for always supporting them and God for guiding their way.
General secretary, Kaboto Kibami also gave a speech on behalf of the student council.
The programme was chaired by Eyilobeni Ngullie (5th semester), invocation was said by counsellor, Dr. Meyila, a special song was presented by Olempenla Longkumer, welcome address by principal Sharatchandra Singh, and vote of thanks by assistant professor, department of English, Temjenkala Yaden
