Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has began the HSSLC examination from 12th February, 2019 and HSLC examination from 13th of February, 2019. A total number of 39009 students are appearing for the HSLC and HSSLC examinations.
In HSSLC examination, a total of 15820 candidates are enrolled and would be appearing from 54 provisional examination centres.
Out of 15820 candidates, 8335 are girls and 7485 are boys.
In HSLC Examination, a total of 23189 candidates (11175 boys and 12014 girls) would be appearing for the examination from 79 provisional examination centres and 2 sub centres.
665 schools are presenting 19953 regular candidates for the HSLC examination. 3232 candidates are repeaters. Two students are appearing again to improve their result and there are two cases of change of centre.
In HSLC Examination, Dimapur district have the highest enrolment of 7598 candidates followed by Kohima district with 3929 candidates.
With the examinations on, the NBSE has conveyed its best wishes to all the candidates appearing for the examination. All candidates have been requested to reach the examination centre in time by moving out from home early. It also requested all the Centre Superintendents and the Invigilators to conduct the examinations as per the rules.
