    Kros College celebrates institution’s foundation day

    The 8th foundation day of Kros College, at Lerie in Kohima, was held with Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio attending as the event’s honoured guest. The chief minister addressed the event. Congratulating the institution on its eighth year of establishment, he said it was a college with a vision as it not only imparts quality education but encourages extra co-curricular activities also. He praised the institution’s proprietor Suoho, for his humanitarian act in accommodating the less fortunate and the poor.     The University Grants Commission conferred St Joseph’s College Jakhama in Kohima district of Nagaland autonomous status after the National Assessment and Accreditation Council re-accredited the college with Grade A. The University Grants Commission (UGC) conferred St Joseph’s College Jakhama in Kohima district of Nagaland autonomous status after the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) re-accredited the college with Grade A. The NAAC is an organisation that assesses and accredits higher education institutions.
